[Seoul Museum of Craft Art Evening Program for Adults] A chance to discover the allure of luminous mother-of-pearl, We invite you to 〈Crafting a Najeon Box〉! View outstanding examples of traditional najeon craftwork from the museum's collection, and use traditional craft techniques and mother-of-pearl to create a najeon box that expresses your individuality. An after-work craft session for adults tired from everyday life. Every Thursday evening, enjoy a relaxing, peaceful time with shimmering mother-of-pearl at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art. ○ Program period: August (8) 6–November (11) 26, 2026 (Every Thursday at 18:00 for 4 months) ○ August (8) program application period: From 10:00 on July (7) 30, 2026 (Thu) ※ First-come, first-served registration by month ※ If a cancellation occurs, the slot automatically becomes available for booking. ① August (8) sessions (8.6/8.13/8.20/8.27) ▶ Registration opens 7.30 (Thu) at 10:00 ② September (9) sessions (9.3/9.10/9.17) ▶ Registration opens 8/27 (Thu) at 10:00 ③ October (10) sessions (10.1/10.8/10.15/10.22/10.29) ▶ Registration opens 9/17 (Thu) at 10:00 ④ November (11) sessions (11.5/11.12/11.19/11.26) ▶ Registration opens 10.29 (Thu) at 10:00 ○ August (8) program dates and times: August (8) 6, 13, 20, and 27, every Thursday 18:00–19:30 (90 minutes) ※ This is a single-session (1-session), nonconsecutive program; repeat participation during the operating period (months 7–11) is not permitted. ○ Venue: Education Room, 1F, Exhibition Building 3, Seoul Museum of Craft Art (1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Anguk Station, Line 3) ○ Participation fee: Free ○ Eligibility: All adults ○ Program Details - Learn the definition and history of najeon craft, its production process, major techniques, and the meaning of its patterns, and view najeon works from the museum's collection - Use various najeon techniques, including jureumjil, kkeuneumjil, and halpaebeop, to create an everyday craft item (najeon box) 4. Important Information ※ This is a single-session (1-session), nonconsecutive program, and repeat participation during the operating period is strictly prohibited. ※ Please note that all reservations made by duplicate applicants will be canceled without prior notice. ※ Only the applicant may participate; reservations cannot be transferred to another person (proxy participation is not permitted). ※ The museum building entrance closes after 18:00, so you must enter at least 10 minutes before the start time. ※ This is a hands-on program in which participants complete a craft item according to the class curriculum; collecting the kit only is not permitted. ※ If you register for the program and are absent without notice (no-show), you will be ineligible to participate in all Seoul Museum of Craft Art educational programs in 2026. ※ By applying for this program, you are deemed to consent to photos and videos taken during the program being used for the museum's promotional and archival purposes on the Seoul Museum of Craft Art website, SNS channels, blog, promotional articles, publications, and similar media.
