The value of music does not lie in a song's ending. The meaning of music emerges while the music is being played. If so, while the music is playing, you must sing, dance, or do whatever it may be. Before the music ends.” “A music-obsessed guy who somehow became a music critic.” This is how critic Bae Soon-tak introduces himself. 『Why Do Brilliant Ideas Like This Keep Coming to Me?』, a collection of essays serialized in 《AROUND》 magazine over 7 years, is a playlist he created in book form. At this book talk, he will share passages and songs from the book, along with stories beyond its pages and a playlist he has kept hidden. Amid music flowing through the themes of ‘love’ and ‘fandom,’ each of us will linger in our own way. We may think of someone, rediscover a taste we had forgotten, or, as Bae Soon-tak says, do “whatever it may be.” Readers who want to broaden their tastes are invited to this listening-session-style book talk featuring music and stories. *An autograph session will follow the talk. *Three people who actively participate in the Q&A will be selected to receive signed copies of the author's book. | About the Participating Author | Music Critic Bae Soon-tak He worked for many years as a writer for 〈Bae Chul-soo's Music Camp〉 and appeared on numerous TV programs, including 〈Infinite Challenge〉, 〈Radio Star〉, and 〈Movie Room 1〉.
