Boramae Park Family Outing (Saturday) — August (8) Explore the ecology of the park forest with a professional forest guide and enjoy nature play on this ecological family outing. August (8) activity: Building an Earthworm Castings Tower - Observe different types of soil and learn about creatures that live underground - The secret of healthy soil: build an earthworm castings tower - Make a self-watering worm and water the garden plants ❐ Program dates and time: August (8), on the 8th, 22nd, and 29th (Sat), 10:00–11:30 AM ❐ Eligibility: Families with children (1 reservation can include up to 5 people) / First 20 participants ❐ Meeting point: 1st floor, Garden Culture Center, Boramae Park Management Office (in front of Seoul Kids Café Boramae Park Branch) ❐ Reservations: First come, first served through Seoul Public Service Reservation (yeyak.seoul.go.kr) ❐ Inquiries: Boramae Park Program Preparation Office, 02-2181-1177 4. Precautions Participant Precautions ❐ Please arrive 5 minutes before the program begins. Failing to attend after making a reservation inconveniences others who wish to participate. ❐ If you cannot attend, please cancel through “My Page” by 17:00 the day before. ❐ This outdoor forest ecology experience takes place in the park and nearby areas (Bukdongsan, Wausan, etc.). - Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers, and bring water and a hat. (No skirts, slippers, or Crocs) - Please note that strollers and kick scooters cannot be accommodated during program activities. - There are many mosquitoes in the forest during summer. Please wear long pants and long sleeves, or a short-sleeved shirt with arm sleeves. ❐ The program will proceed in light rain. Please come prepared with a raincoat or umbrella, rain boots, and other clothing suitable for activities in the rain. ※ Program content is subject to change, and the program may be canceled in heavy rain. To cancel a reservation, go to My Page and click the reservation number. Please note that cancellations cannot be processed after 17:00 the day before. ❐ The program may be canceled under the conditions below. If canceled, a text message will be sent as of 17:00 the day before. - Heat wave advisory, cold wave advisory, heavy rain, heavy snow, emergency fine-dust reduction measures issued or implemented, or fewer than 5 participants - Government quarantine guidelines will be followed if gatherings are prohibited due to an infectious disease ❐ Program notices will be sent by text message, so do not opt out of SMS messages when making your reservation. ❐ Photos or videos taken during the program may be used in Seoul Metropolitan Government promotional materials. Directions ❐ From Boramae Park Station (Sillim Line): 3-minute walk from Exit 1 to the 1st floor of the Garden Culture Center in the Boramae Park Management Office building (in front of Seoul Kids Café Boramae Park Branch) ❐ The parking lot is extremely congested. Parking may be difficult, so please use public transportation.
