■ Program: Play with Trees to the Sound of Cicadas ■ Dates and times: Month 8: 8, 16, 17, 29, and 30 (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 13:00–15:00) Month 8: 9 (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) ■ Participants: Preschoolers, elementary school students, families, etc. ■ Meeting point: Park information board in front of the Dream Forest Visitor Center (Please arrive 10 minutes early.) ■ The program may be canceled if fewer than 5 people have reserved ■ Program details - Meet the tree friends that cicadas love - Learn about needleleaf and broadleaf trees - Find cicada shells hidden on tree trunks or behind leaves - Find out whose shells they are and observe what they look like with a loupe - Learn how cicadas grow into adults with the help of trees - Close your eyes briefly and listen closely to the sound of cicadas - Maem, maem, maem—is it a Korean cicada or a giant cicada? Learn to distinguish cicada calls - Secret stories of trees and cicadas - Make a fragrant mosquito-repellent stick - Make mosquito repellent using cinnamon sticks and aromatic plants. ■ Notes - When reserving, please include guardians in the total number of participants. - If you do not attend without canceling in advance, you may have difficulty participating in future programs. - Photos taken during the program may be used to promote the Seoul Metropolitan Government. - The program may be canceled due to fine dust reduction measures, rain, or other weather conditions. - For safety during outdoor activities, comfortable clothing and athletic shoes are recommended. 4. Important information ■ Please cancel your reservation through “My Page” at least 3 days in advance. (If you do not attend without canceling, your participation in future programs may be restricted. We appreciate your careful consideration before reserving for the benefit of other applicants.) ■ Canceled if the temperature is 33°C or higher / -12°C or lower (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4:00 p.m. the day before the program) ■ Canceled if the probability of precipitation is 70% or higher (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4:00 p.m. the day before the program) ■ Canceled if the fine dust forecast exceeds 151㎍/㎥ (based on the fine dust alerts and action guidelines issued by Seoul Air Quality Information)
