★ Program: Changgyeonggung Palace! Family Insect Expedition 1. Eligibility: Families with young children (age 4 and up) through elementary school students, accompanied by a guardian 2. Capacity: 6 families (approximately 15 people) 3. Schedule: Every Saturday from 7 (July) 25 to 11 (November) 30, 2026, from 10:00 in the morning/from 1:00 in the afternoon 4. Venue: Chundangji Pond area of Changgyeonggung Palace 5. Meeting (Assembly) Point: 6. Program Content 1) Insect exercises 2) Learn about insects' characteristics and roles 3) Learn about insect anatomy (head, thorax, abdomen, mouth, eyes, etc.) 4) Learn about insects in different habitats (underground and on the ground, in the forest (trees), and near water) 5) Learn about the life cycles of insects appearing in different seasons (cicadas, dragonflies, crickets, etc.) 6) Explore insects around Chundangji Pond 7) Traditional games and ecological activities 8) Make an insect cube 9) Take a family photo ☆ The program may be adjusted depending on the season, weather, etc. ★ Applications accepted monthly (limited to 1 time per 1 month) ★ Failure to attend after applying will result in restrictions the following month ★ Participants must bring their own insect repellent (tick repellent, mosquito repellent, etc.) ★ Participants must obtain their own accident insurance if needed ☆ Participants are responsible for the Changgyeonggung Palace admission fee 4. Precautions 📍 Applications are limited to 1 time per 1 month 📍 No Parking: There is no dedicated parking lot. Please use public transportation whenever possible. ⏰ Arrive on Time: To ensure the class runs smoothly, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start. (Late arrivals may not be able to participate.) 🚫 No-Shows: Absences without prior notice inconvenience those on the waiting list. Please cancel at least 2 days before the class. Unexcused absences may result in future restrictions.
