□ Eunpyeong Wood Culture Experience Center Professional Woodworking Class (Intermediate) Program Information ○ Schedule (10 sessions, 3 hours each) 1. Tuesday class: Tuesday, September (9) 1–Tuesday, November (11) 3, 2026, 13:00–16:00 2. Thursday class: Thursday, September (9) 3–Thursday, November (11) 12, 2026, 13:00–16:00 3. Saturday class: Saturday, September (9) 5–Saturday, November (11) 21, 2026, 09:00–12:00 ※ Please note the class cancellation schedule: Thursday class (Chuseok); Saturday class (Chuseok and National Foundation Day). ○ Venue: Eunpyeong Wood Culture Experience Center (1079-20 Tongil-ro, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul) ○ Registration: From 10:00 AM on Thursday, August (8) 20, 2026 (first come, first served) ○ Capacity: 10 people per class ※ The class will be canceled if fewer than 6 people register. ※ This program is for adults; middle and high school students cannot participate. ○ Tuition: KRW 38 manwon ※ Tuition discount: 50% of the experience fee (KRW 2,000) × 10 sessions, for a total discount of KRW 1 manwon ※ Eligible for discounts: Basic livelihood security recipients, people with disabilities, senior citizens, national merit honorees, multicultural families, Multi-Child Card holders, etc. ○ Other inquiries: Eunpyeong-gu Office Parks and Green Spaces Division (☎02-351-8034) □ Curriculum by Professional Class Level Intermediate (Level 2 Woodworking Instructor Course) By session Theory class Practical work Sessions 1 and 2 - Woodworking safety training - Training on precautions when using woodworking machinery (Additional training as needed) Table saw, miter saw, drill press, band saw, scroll saw, router, trimmer, Domino, biscuit joiner, dowels, and other power tools - SketchUp training ※ Participants cut materials themselves using machinery to make a 1-person chair and a 1-person table with a drawer Sessions 3 and 4 Sessions 5 and 6 Sessions 7 and 8 Sessions 9 and 10 ※ The practical program is subject to change. □ After Obtaining a Woodworking Instructor Certificate Since 2021, Eunpyeong-gu has trained and developed woodworking instructors each year through its professional classes, training a total of 380 woodworking instructors: 43 in 2021, 90 in 2022, 106 in 2023, 82 in 2024, and 59 in 2025. Over the past 5 years, graduates trained through this course have worked on-site as woodworking instructors and received on-site teaching guidance so they can access training-related jobs and develop the qualities required of instructors. Those who have obtained a Level 3 Woodworking Instructor Certificate may apply for this intermediate course, and those who complete 30 hours of training will be issued a 'Level 2 Woodworking Instructor' certificate by the Korea Woodworking Education Association, after which they may work as woodworking instructors. 4. Important Notes Eligibility for the Intermediate Professional Woodworking Class - Level 3 Woodworking Instructor Certificate holders 1. Please be sure to check the day of the week for the professional class you are applying for. ※ Switching between classes due to a participant's circumstances is not allowed. Example: Taking session 1 of the Tuesday class, then continually taking sessions 2–10 of the Thursday class is not allowed. ※ Make-up classes on another day are possible, but you should attend on your assigned day whenever possible!! (Class size is limited to 10 people.) 2. Applications may be submitted from the specified application date on a first-come, first-served basis; advance reservations by phone are not available. ※ Reservations made by any method other than the Public Service Reservation system will not be accepted. 3. After registration is complete, the final selected participants will be notified individually before class. 4. Tuition for the professional class may be paid only by credit card or bank transfer. ※ You must complete payment within 2 hours of applying to finalize your application. 5. Once the professional class begins, tuition will not be refunded if you withdraw for personal reasons.
