[Seoul Museum of Craft Art Class Program] Discover the unique traditional crafts that flourished in Korea and the colorful splendor of Hwagak craft. Classes are invited to join Our Class's First Steps in Craft: Hwagak Craft Edition! View outstanding works of traditional Hwagak craft from the museum's collection, explore production techniques using a 'Hwagak craft box' modeled after a Hwagak box, and use the traditional reverse-painting technique to create your own one-of-a-kind treasure box. This customized educational program is designed for elementary school classes in Grades 4–6. Centered on Korea's distinctive traditional Hwagak craft, it combines viewing works from the collection with a hands-on craft experience. Interested classes are encouraged to participate. Our Class's First Steps in Craft: Semester 2 Hwagak Craft Edition Registration Information □ Program period: 9. 2. (Wed.)–12. 23. (Wed.) ※ Every Wednesday (17 sessions total) □ Program time: 09:30–11:00 (90 minutes; slight adjustments to the program time are possible) □ Venue: Education Room, 1F, Exhibition Building 3 □ Participants: Elementary school class groups in Grades 4–6 (approximately 25 students) □ Program: Learn about Hwagak craft through the museum's signature Hwagak box, view works from the collection, and make a 'treasure box' using craft techniques □ Registration: First come, first served through Seoul Public Service Reservation ※ Registration is finalized only after a phone confirmation with the coordinator (school name, grade, number of participants, etc.). □ Registration period: Opens at 14:00 on Wednesday, 7/22; available until fully booked 4. Important Information 1. This program is for elementary school class groups in Grades 4–6. 2. Once all 17 sessions are fully booked and all phone confirmations are complete, an official cooperation letter regarding participation in the educational program will be sent to all participating schools. 3. If you must cancel after the cooperation letter has been sent, please contact the coordinator by phone. 4. Each class may register for and participate in the program only 1 time during the program period. Duplicate registration or participation is not permitted. 5. The program runs from 09:30 to 11:00, but the start time may be adjusted by up to ±30 minutes. 6. Transportation is not provided. Parking is unavailable to protect the historic site, so please use public transportation when visiting the museum. (1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Anguk Station on Line 3)
