[Registration] Bamseom Secret Expedition: Our Precious Bamseom Friends! Have you ever heard the story of mysterious Bamseom in the heart of Seoul? A special ecological exploration program designed for lower-elementary students! Learn about and experience endangered animals and the birds living on Bamseom, and discover the importance of nature. ① Program Information ㅇ Date and time: Every Saturday, 10:00–11:30 (90 minutes total) - Month 8 (August) dates: Month 8 (August) 1, 8, 22, and 29 (4 sessions total) - ⚠️ Closure notice: The center will be closed on Saturday, Month 8 (August) 15, a public holiday (National Liberation Day). ㅇ Venue: Bamseom Ecological Experience Center (upper level of Mapo Bridge) ㅇ Participants: Elementary school students in grades 1–4 (12 participants per 1-day session, first-come, first-served) ※ Please make the reservation based on the number of participating children. ㅇ Fee: Free ㅇ How to apply: Register online through the Seoul Public Service Reservation system ② Program Content “Discover the hidden value of nearby Bamseom through exciting hands-on activities.” ㅇ Classroom learning - The precious value of Bamseom (a Ramsar wetland) - Bamseom and endangered animals around the world - The diverse birds living on Bamseom ㅇ Hands-on activities - AR coloring activity: Watch the endangered animal you color come to life! - Make a bird call: Create a wooden bird call and use it to make bird sounds ③ What to Bring and Important Notes - What to bring: A personal bag or other carrier (for taking home completed projects and trash) - Trash etiquette: There are no trash cans inside the center. To protect the environment, you must take all trash home with you. ※ Important Notes ※ - Be on time: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the program begins to ensure smooth operation. - Check in advance: The office cannot be reached by phone on the day of the program. Please check the center's location in advance. Cancellations and changes to participation must be completed no later than 2 days before the program date. 📍 Directions to the Bamseom Ecological Experience Center - You must check the location of the Bamseom Ecological Experience Center before registering and attending. - Parking may be congested, so public transportation is recommended. ㅇ Address: 84-6 Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (on the upper level of Mapo Bridge) ㅇ Public transportation: Approximately a 15-minute walk from Exit 2 of Yeouinaru Station on Line 5 ㅇ Parking: Use Yeouido Hangang Park Parking Lot 2 or 3 (approximately a 15-minute walk) 4. Important Notes (Please read before making a reservation!) ✅ Reservation Cancellations and No-Shows - Self-service cancellation: Reservations must be canceled through [Seoul Public Service Reservation Portal > My Page] by 12:00, 2 days before the program. (Same-day cancellation is not permitted.) - No-show penalty: If you do not attend without prior notice, you will be restricted from applying for the same program for the next 6 months. Please reserve carefully out of consideration for others. ✅ Visiting and Using the Facility - Guardian required: Due to the center's location, it is dangerous for children to travel there alone, so a guardian must accompany them. - Protect the facilities: As this is a public facility, please instruct children to take care not to damage anything inside. - Give up seats: If indoor seating is limited, please cooperate by allowing participating children to sit first. ✅ Environment and Personal Supplies - Bring drinking water: Drinking water is not available inside the center, so please bring your own. - Take your trash home: There are no trash cans inside the center.
