Yongsan Family Park Weekend Program: Yongsan Family Park Forest Orienteering August (8) Theme: Insects ㅇ Dates and times: 1, 8, 22, and 29: Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 30 minutes past 11 a.m. (Session 1) / from 14:00 to 30 minutes past 15:00 (Session 2) ㅇ Participants: Families with elementary school students ㅇ Capacity: 25 people per session (Please include parents in the number of people booked!) - Booking limit: For 1 session, bookings may include 2–5 people ㅇ Meeting point: In front of the Yongsan Family Park management office (**Enter through the Yongsan Family Park main gate -> the gray building past the restroom on the right side of the parking lot) ㅇ Program: [The Yongsan Family Park Forest Orienteering program features a new theme every month] - Orienteering is a race in which participants use a map and compass to pass designated checkpoints and reach the finish. - Forest orienteering combines orienteering with the forest; participants follow a map and use the terrain and landmarks to complete forest and ecology missions. - This offers families time together while helping them learn to read maps and develop a sense of direction. - It is also an educational and active program that develops independent problem-solving skills and increases a sense of achievement. ㅇ What to bring: Hat, sneakers, drinking water, *** guardian's mobile phone (missions require the KakaoMap app to be downloaded) (Directions) - On foot: Walk about 800m from Exit 2 of Ichon Station on Subway Line 4 (public transportation is recommended due to limited parking) (**Enter through the Yongsan Family Park main gate -> the gray building past the restroom building on the right side of the parking lot) 4. Important Information ■ Please cancel your booking through 'My Page' at least 3 days in advance ■ Temperatures above 33℃ (when a heat wave advisory is issued) / below -12℃ (when a cold wave advisory is issued) (Based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at around 5 p.m. on the day before the program) ■ Rain (heavy rain) or snow (heavy snow) (Based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at around 5 p.m. on the day before the program) ※ You will be notified separately if the program is canceled due to on-site weather conditions ■ Please note that 2–3 photos will be taken during the program for reporting purposes (wide shots and rear views of the group)!! ■ If you do not attend on the day without canceling in advance (NO-SHOW), you will not be able to book a program the following month. If you cannot attend, please be sure to cancel in advance!!
