[Notice] Registration Information for the August (8) 2026 Smart Farm Program for Children's Groups For a safe and enjoyable experience for children, please review the schedule and precautions below before applying. 📅 Program and Registration Schedule · Program period: 2026. 08. 04.–08. 27. · Program times: Every Tuesday and Thursday, Session 1: 10:00–11:30 (90 minutes) / Session 2: 15:00–16:30 (90 minutes) ※ Program days and times may change depending on group enrollment conditions. 📢 1st Recruitment Round · Priority registration for Mapo-gu institutions: 07. 10. (Fri)–07. 14. (Tue) ⚠️ Caution: Applications submitted during this period by institutions outside Mapo-gu may be canceled without prior notice. · Additional recruitment: 07. 15. (Wed)–07. 19. (Sun) - Applications from outside Mapo-gu will be accepted only if spaces remain after priority registration for Mapo-gu. · Confirmation notice: Scheduled for 07. 20. (Mon) 📢 2nd Recruitment Round · 07. 21. (Tue)–07. 30. (Thu) · Confirmation notice: Scheduled for 07. 30. (Fri) 📌 Eligibility and Application Criteria · Eligible participants: Children's institutions and groups (recommended age: 4 and older / groups of kindergarteners and elementary school students, care centers, etc.) · Number of participants: Capacity is 15 for each 1 session, but additional participants may be accepted and group size adjusted through prior consultation. · Application limit (1 time per institution per month): To provide fair access, each institution may be assigned only 1 session per month. - Even if different teachers other than the director apply separately, applications from the same institution will be treated as 1 application. (Example: If Teacher Kim 00 and Teacher Lee 00 from OO Daycare Center apply ➔ counted as 1 application from OO Daycare Center) - Classes unable to participate due to the assignment limit may apply for the following month's program. ⚠️ Important Information for Smooth Operation · Minimum enrollment: A session may be automatically canceled if fewer than 10 people register. · Cancellations and absences: Failing to attend without notice takes away a valuable opportunity from someone else. - If your plans change, please cancel by phone at least 7 days before the program date. Failure to provide advance notice may result in restrictions on applications for future programs. 🌱 Main Educational Activities · Tour the smart farm facilities and learn how they work · Harvest crops grown in the smart farm · Cooking experience using harvested produce · Make a pressed-flower journal / Make a moisture-sensor planter (activities alternate by session) ⚠️ Must Read! Safety and Cooperation Guidelines 🚨 A supervising teacher must accompany and control the group to prevent accidents. Although an instructor leads the program, it is difficult to control every unexpected action by children. 🚨 To prevent accidents, accompanying supervising teachers must remain close to the children and provide careful attention and thorough supervision. · Allergy check: If a child or participant has allergies, please assess the risks in advance and decide whether to participate. · Transportation: No transportation is provided, so you must use your own vehicle.
