Gwangjin-gu Forest Interpretation Summer Vacation Special * Schedule: Month 7, day 25 (Sat), day 26 (Sun); month 8, days 5-16 (8 days) *Additional weekend dates in month 8: 22, 23, 29, 30 * Hours: 7 p.m.-8 p.m. 30 min. * Participants: Families with children age 7 or older (A guardian must accompany children!) * Meeting place: In front of Achasan Forest Library * What to bring: Long sleeves and long pants are required in the nighttime forest!! Personal flashlight, mosquito repellent, sneakers Summer Night Forest Walk at Achasan "A special time to encounter the sounds and shadows of the forest that are different from daytime!" On summer nights, as the sun sets and a cool breeze begins to blow, a special nighttime forest walk takes place in the Achasan forest. Follow the sounds and shadows of the forest that are hard to notice during the day, the chirping of insects, and traces of small creatures moving among the trees to discover another side of the summer forest at night. As children carefully walk the dark forest paths, listening, observing, and feeling, they will experience how the various insects and small creatures living on Achasan survive in their own ways. Join your family to encounter the summer forest at night, so different from daytime, and enjoy a special opportunity to see nature in a new way. 4.
