(Summer Vacation Special) Namsan Nighttime Insect Exploration

Join us in the summer night forest to search for Namsan's insect friends that are hard to encounter during the day. This special ecological experience lets families explore nature together while learning about the preciousness of life and the value of biodiversity. Program Details - Introduction to Namsan's 'Korean Forest Garden' - Introduction to insect friends encountered at night - Nighttime insect exploration: Experience the nature and atmosphere of the Korean Forest Garden * Put on a glow bracelet before setting out * Discover the distinctive sounds of insects - Make your own colorful insect: Design an insect in your own amazing colors Program Overview - Dates and time: July (month 7) 29 and 31, 19:30-21:00, Groups A and B - Capacity: 18 people per group - Participants: Families with elementary school students - Meeting point: In front of the Hannam Children's Forest Experience Center - What to bring: Wear sneakers, personal drinking water, flashlight (download a phone flashlight app) - How to participate: Seoul Public Service Reservation ( https://yeyak.seoul.go.kr (Directions) - By public transit/on foot: (1) From Seoul Station Exit 9-1, board bus 402 at Bay 5 of the bus transfer center, get off at Hyatt Hotel, cross the overpass, and proceed to the Children's Forest Experience Center (2) From City Hall Station Exit 8, take bus 402, get off in front of Hyatt Hotel, cross the overpass, and proceed to the Children's Forest Experience Center (3) From Hangangjin Station Exit 2, take bus 405, get off across from Hyatt Hotel, enter Namsan Park, and proceed to the Children's Forest Experience Center * There is no parking. Please use public transportation. 4. Important Notes ■ Please cancel your reservation through 'My Page' at least 3 days in advance. ■ Canceled when the temperature is 33℃ or higher / -12℃ or lower (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 5 p.m. the day before the program) ■ Canceled when the probability of precipitation is 70% or higher (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 5 p.m. the day before the program) ■ The program will not operate if enrollment is below 50% of capacity. ■ Canceled when the fine-dust forecast exceeds 150㎍/㎥ (based on the Seoul Air Quality Information fine-dust forecast alerts and action guidelines) * Please include guardians in the number of people when booking. * A parent must participate.
