■ Program: Yageum-Yageum, Insect Exploration Team ■ Dates & Times: July (7) 17, 24, and 31 (Fri.) August (8) 7, 14, 21, and 28 (Fri.) 19:20–20:30 (up to 2 reservations per person) ■ Description: A 5-week Friday-night ecological exploration mission with your family! - A magical time under the night sky to encounter nature and explore the forest through sight, sound, and touch - A chance to slowly get closer to insects, the precious little creatures encountered at night (夜) on Friday (金) ■ Program Details ☞ Theme: Insects at Night and the Yageum Party - Find the nocturnal insects! Twinkle, twinkle! Insect Exploration Team - Night exploration programs by insect order ① Lepidoptera: Wings in the Dark (Find the moths!) ② Hemiptera: Do cicadas sing at night too? ③ Coleoptera: Secrets beneath the beetle’s armor ④ Orthoptera: An evening with the musicians of the grass ⑤ Other orders: Insect hunters (Mantodea and Odonata) * The program order may change depending on conditions at the site and the weather that day. ■ Meeting Point: Gather at the map and information board in front of the Visitor Center → Move into the forest ■ Eligibility: Families with elementary school students or older accompanied by a guardian (up to 2 reservations per person) ■ Capacity: 16 people/8 families (Please include guardians in the number reserved.) ■ Important Information - When booking, reserve for the total number of participants, including guardians. - Failure to attend without canceling in advance may make it difficult to participate in future programs. - The program runs even in rain, but may be canceled if a heavy rain or heat wave advisory or warning is issued. - The program starts on time, so please arrive 5 minutes early for check-in. - There are many mosquitoes in the forest on summer nights. For safety during outdoor activities, comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended. 4. Precautions ■ Canceled if the temperature is 33°C or higher / -12°C or lower (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4 p.m. on the day before the program) ■ Canceled if the probability of precipitation is 70% or higher (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4 p.m. on the day before the program) ■ Canceled if the fine-dust forecast exceeds 151 ㎍/㎥ (based on the fine-dust alerts and response guidelines of the Seoul Air Quality Information system)
