[Seongdong-gu] Forest Interpretation—Connecting Hearts Forest Interpretation (Garden Prescription for Families)

About this event

□ Location: In front of the Daehyeonsan Forest Book Shelter (The location may be changed at participants’ request.) □ Participants: Families □ Activities: ○ Forest walk: Walk around the Daehyeonsan Forest Book Shelter and hear stories about the ecosystem. ○ Nature play: Use natural materials to bring the family’s hearts together and create an artwork. ○ Horticultural activity: Learn about garden plants while talking with your family. ○ Sharing Hearts: Connect with the surrounding nature and link my heart with my family’s hearts. * The program is subject to change depending on circumstances. □ How to apply: Apply through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System (http//yeyak.seoul.go.kr) □ Duration: 2 hours (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. / 1:00–3:00 p.m.). Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the program. □ What to bring: Comfortable clothing appropriate for the season and weather, comfortable walking shoes, a brimmed hat for sun protection, a personal seat cushion, drinking water, a light snack (optional), and a handkerchief □ Participation fee: Free □ Directions: Book shelter near Daehyeonsan Rose Garden Take Seongdong Village Bus 02, get off at Geumbong Daycare Center or Ttottowa Mart; the building is across the street. □ Inquiries: Forest interpreter Iseul ☏ 010-9054-0370 / Seongdong-gu Parks and Greenery Division ☏ 02-2286-5673 Please avoid calling during program hours (10:00–12:00, 14:00–16:00). 4. Precautions ※ This is a family participation program. 1 family representative should apply. If you are unable to participate, please be sure to cancel at least 3 days before the scheduled date. ※ For parking, please use the nearby Eungbong-dong Public Parking Lot. ☆ Please arrive in front of the Daehyeonsan Book Shelter no later than 10 minutes before the program begins. ■ Canceled if the probability of precipitation is 70% or higher (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4:00 p.m. on the day before the program)
