During the Japanese colonial period, not only people but also the nature of this land suffered greatly. Planting, learning about, cultivating, and documenting our wildflowers and trees—whose names were taken away—is also an act of reclaiming the 'identity' that independence activists sought to protect. Through the process of planting and tending to our wildflowers in the courtyard of the Lee Hoe-yeong Memorial Hall, we aim to collectively put the value of 'independence' into practice today. Operating Schedule * The Beotjip Wildflower School is a course-based program that continues with the flow of the seasons. We encourage attendance at all sessions if possible. * To ensure smooth operation, we are accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritizing those who can participate in multiple sessions. He has carried out projects such as concept and garden design for the Cheongju Museum of Art ( 2013 ), planning for the transformation of the Cheongju Tobacco Plant into an art and culture park, overall planning for a photography exhibition with artist Koo Bon-chang ( 2014 ), concept and operational strategy design for a Garden LAB in a disused waterworks space in Sejong City, and concept design for the creation of art and culture parks in Seoul subway stations ( 2015 ). Subsequently, he served as the general director of the Ganghwado Garden Art School ( 2017 ) and the general manager of the Jeondeungsa Natural Garden Art School ( 2018 ~ 2019 ). Currently, he is engaged in garden design and plant research activities at the garden culture space "Pul-kkot Si-gan" in Munho-ri, Seojong-myeon, along the Bukhan River. 4 .
