Hong Geon-ik House Regular Docent Tour (Sun)

Hong Geon-ik House is a modern Hanok built in the 1930 that serves as a public residence open to everyone. It consists of five buildings—the Main Gatehouse, Outbuildings, Guest House, Main House, and Annex—along with a rear garden. Among the many Hanoks in Seoul, it is the only one that retains a corner gate, a well, and an ice storage facility within its rear garden. Recognized for its architectural value, it has been designated as a Seoul Metropolitan City Folk Cultural Heritage. To aid visitors in understanding and appreciating the space, regular docent tours are conducted every Sunday with a house guide.
