○ Location: Around 428-6 Oksu-dong, Seongdong-gu (Maebongsan Healing Forest) ○ Participants: Anyone interested in forest therapy ※ Maebongsan is a mountainous park, so participants must be capable of basic forest exercise. ※ Preschoolers and elementary school students may participate with a guardian, but caution is required due to the many slopes and stairs. ※ Schedules for groups can be arranged separately (customized programs available). ○ Program: Taegeuk 9-line stretching, Tok Tok therapy, chopstick massage, barefoot walking, stick exercises, wooden-pole walking, five-senses forest therapy, singing bowl therapy, foot baths, aromatherapy, tea conversations, making tea suited to you, and more. Activities vary by participant group and season. Customized programs are available upon request for groups. ※ Special Programs 1. Mindfulness Forest → For people experiencing depression, emotional anxiety, or other difficulties due to the pandemic 2. Silver Forest → Seniors aged 60 and older 3. Five Senses + Sixth Sense → Cancer patients and their families, people living alone, and people with depression 4. Making Herbal Tea *The program is subject to change depending on circumstances. ○ How to Apply: Register through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System (http//yeyak.seoul.go.kr) ○ Duration: 2 hours (morning 10:00–12:00, afternoon 14:00–16:00). Please arrive 10 minutes early. ○ What to Bring: Comfortable clothing appropriate for the season and weather (including mosquito and insect protection), non-slip sneakers (the trail has decomposed granite soil and slopes), drinking water, a light snack, a handkerchief, and mosquito and insect protection ○ Fee: Free ○ Directions: Healing Center next to Seongdong Forest Library (container building; take bus 421 or village bus 12, get off in front of Oksu Park Hill Apartments, then walk 10 minutes uphill beside Malgeunsaem Daycare Center) Geumho Station (20-minute walk; see map below), Oksu Station (25-minute walk, or 10 minutes on village bus 12) ○ Inquiries: Forest Therapy Instructor ☏ 010-2000-1366 / Seongdong-gu Parks and Greenery Division ☏ 02-2286-5673 ※ Please avoid calling during program hours (Tue–Sat 10:00–12:00, 14:00–16:00) and on days off (Sun and Mon). 4. Even if only 1 person is booked, the program may proceed if there are on-site participants. If you cannot participate, please be sure to cancel at least 3 days before the scheduled date. ※ There is no dedicated parking, so please use public transportation. ☆ Please arrive at the Healing Center next to Maebongsan Forest Library at least 10 minutes before the program begins. As the program is operated by 1 person and takes place in the forest, late arrivals may not be able to participate. ■ Canceled at temperatures of 33°C or above / -12°C or below (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4 p.m. the day before the program) ■ Canceled if the chance of precipitation is 70% or higher (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast at 4 p.m. the day before the program)
