[Event Introduction] The Jangchungdan, Path of Patriots walking tour program, suspended during the peak summer heat (July (7)–August (8)), will return as a special night program commemorating the 81st anniversary of Liberation Day. Participants will first make their own commemorative fan in a fan-decorating activity using Taegeukgi and mugunghwa die-cut stickers, and then walk through Jangchungdan Park with a cultural tourism guide on a nighttime tour exploring the footsteps of the independence movement and reflecting on the meaning of liberation. After the program, participants who complete the online quiz and satisfaction survey will receive a small gift. [Program Information] Dates: August (8) 13 (Thu)–August (8) 14 (Fri), 2026 Time: 18:30–19:30 (approximately 1 hour) Location: Jangchungdan Park Meeting point: In front of the Memory Exhibition Hall in Jangchungdan Park Capacity: 80 people total (40 per day) Fee: Free [Program] ① Liberation Day Commemorative Fan Decorating (18:30–18:40) Decorate a fan using Taegeukgi and mugunghwa die-cut stickers You may take your finished fan home as a souvenir. ② Jangchungdan, Path of Patriots Night Walking Tour (18:40–19:30) A nighttime guided program that visits major historical sites in Jangchungdan Park with a cultural tourism guide to explore the footsteps of the independence movement and reflect on the meaning of liberation. Main route Jangchungdan Monument → Paris Petition Monument of Korean Confucian Scholars' Independence Movement → Statue of Patriot Yi Jun → Monument to Patriot Yi Han-eung → Statue of Patriot Yu Gwan-sun ※ Parts of the route may change depending on event operations. [Registration and Notes] Registration is first-come, first-served through the Seoul Public Reservation System. A participation information text message will be sent 2–3 days before the program. ★The program will be canceled if a disaster alert, such as a heavy rain advisory or heat wave advisory, is issued.★ ※ Participants are responsible for their own safety.
