💁 The Seoul Institute of Health and Environment started as the Hanseong-bu Hygiene Testing Station in 1945 and has consistently stood by the citizens of Seoul for 80 years, taking responsibility for their health and safety with the goal of "A Healthy Seoul for a Better Life for Citizens." 💁 The institute tour allows visitors to observe the inspection sites of the institute, which is responsible for research in Seoul's health and environment sector, firsthand. Experts in each field will introduce the teams' key tasks and research achievements. 📌 Overview of Citizen Tour Operations ✅ Target Audience: Students from high schools, universities, and graduate schools, as well as representatives from relevant health and environment institutions. - Individual tours are not available, and the number of participants is limited to a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 💡 If the number of participants exceeds 20 , the group may be divided into 2 teams, allowing for a maximum of 40 people. ✅ Period: 3 2026 – 11 2026 ✅ Hours: Monday–Friday 10:00 : 16:00 (excluding lunch break 12:00 : 13:00 ) - Operated to accommodate the tour duration (approximately 1 hour) within the Institute's business hours ✅ Location: Laboratories at the Seoul Metropolitan Government Institute of Health and Environment (Headquarters), etc. ( 3 facilities) 📌 Citizen Tour Program Structure ✅ Viewing of the Institute's promotional video and introduction to the Institute's overall operations ( 15 minutes) ✅ Visits to research facilities by 3 teams tailored to the visitor's purpose ( 40 minutes) - Tour teams equipped with the Institute's key advanced testing environments introduce the relevant department's major research achievements, facilities (equipment, etc.), and testing processes. 📌 Citizen Tour Program Application Procedure ✅ (Application via Public Service Reservation System) - Applications by relevant institutions and organizations must be submitted via the 'Seoul Public Service Reservation System (yeyak.seoul.go.kr)' by the end of the month two months prior to the desired visit date. 💡 Example: If you wish to visit in 5 , the application must be completed by the end 3 .
